1. Sign in using your Microsoft account

To log in, use the Microsoft account provided by your organisation. This will be the same account you use to access other Microsoft services (e.g., Outlook, Teams). Make sure you're using the correct credentials associated with your organisation's domain (e.g., your-college.ac.uk).

2. Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA)

Your organisation may require Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) for added security. After entering your Microsoft account credentials, you may be asked to provide a second form of authentication, such as a code sent to your phone or generated by an app.

Steps to complete MFA:

• Enter your Microsoft account credentials.
• You will be prompted for a second factor, such as a code or approval from your phone.
• Complete the additional verification using your chosen method (SMS, email, or Authenticator app).

3. Using the Microsoft Authenticator App

If you are using the Microsoft Authenticator app for MFA, ensure that you have set it up correctly. You will need to scan a QR code or receive a code from your organisation to link your account to the app.

How to set up Microsoft Authenticator:

• Download the Microsoft Authenticator app from your app store.
• Open the app and select “Add account”.
• Follow the instructions to scan a QR code or enter a code provided by your organisation.
• Once set up, you can use the app to approve sign-ins or generate codes for MFA.
